FUZZTONES NEW ALBUM "HORNY AS HELL"!

No doubt Fuzztones' fans expected to ogle sexy strippers onstage when they attended last years "Horny As Hell" tour, advertising "Very Special Horny Guests!" What they got instead was the mighty Fuzztones with a HORN SECTION! To top it off, the line-up featured the return of veteran Fuzz-monster "Mad" Mike, beating the crap out of the drums, just like he did from 1986 to 1992, and together with bassist Screamin' Bo Pille's steady throb, creating the rhythm section from Hell! The huge new sound went over so well that Rudi decided to take the band in to a recording studio at the end of the tour, and record the set. To emphasize the new arrangements, Lana switched to wailing Hammond C3 organ, while Rudi Protrudi and Lenny Silver trade stinging leads and driving rhythms throughout! And finally, as if that's not enough, a four piece female backing group was utilized to provide the sassy backing vocals. The band recorded 17 songs, including future favorites "Garden of My Mind" and the Pretty Things' "Alexander" (which will feature Pretties' bassist and occasional lead singer Wally Waller harmonizing with Rudi) as well as brand new versions of Fuzztones classics (wait 'til you hear "Ward 81" and "She's Wicked" done "Big Band" style)! Last but not least, Rudi's unique vocal delivery - just as energetic and vital as when he began the band 28 years ago! The new album will be released this summer as a special tour souvenir. Title? "Horny As Hell," of course!

FUZZTONES ON TOUR IN ITALY & SPAIN!

After 28 years of Fuzz and Fury, The Fuzztones will embark on their final European tour this Spring. The band is responsible for initiating the Garage Revival of the 80's which continues to this day, having influenced the Hives, the Horrors, Baby Woodrose and many more. Their newest album, "Horny As Hell" (a tour document from their successful 2007 tour) will be released this Spring. Joining founding member and frontman Rudi Action Protrudi on their upcoming tour will be the luscious Lana Loveland on Vox organ and Lenny Svilar on lead guitar (both formerly of the Bonniwell Music Machine and both with The Fuzztones since 2005 and 2006 consecutively), along with Fez Wrecker on primitive bass throb, and guitarist Vince Dante ( a veteran from their 2005 tour and theramin master). Svilar and Dante's twin guitar assault is certain to kick the set into overdrive. And as a special treat for long-time fans, the return of powerhouse drummer "Mad" Mike Czekaj. Czekaj, a charismatic frontman behind the drums, was with The Fuzztones from 1986 to 1992, appearing on several of the band's most notable albums. Don't miss your last chance to catch one of the only true Rock & Roll bands left on this planet!

FUZZTONES RAW HEAT AVAILABLE NOW!

These are the demos that secured the Fuzztones recording deal with Beggar's Banquet/RCA. Too "rough" for the major label, Beggar's had them redo the album with legendary 60's producer Shel Talmy (The Who, Kinks, Creation). This is the REAL deal, produced by Rudi and Jordan Tarlow. If this version was released instead of the sterile Talmy production, the critic's would have surely had a different response. The Gurus of Garage Grunge at their grungiest!

PREVIOUSLY UNRELEASED FUZZTONES TRACK FEATURED ON NEW COMPILATION!!

Bomp Records' newest release, "He Put The Bomp in The Bomp : Greg Shaw" includes 23 PREVIOUSLY UNRELEASED songs by various artists, including The Fuzztones' "I've Got A Way With Girls," which is a bit of a departure from their more sinisterly psychedelic sound. As this collection is more of a remembrance of the late Greg Shaw than a tribute, The Fuzztones chose a song that would convey Shaw's appreciation for the 60's style of Garage Pop evidenced on the Pebbles and Bouders albums that he helped spawn. Other contributing bands include The Plimsouls and Lyres covering the Easybeats and the Outsiders respectively, the Black Keys, rendering the Cramps "I Can't Find My Mind", as well as the Dwarves and the Briefs, offering versions of punk classics by the Weirdos and the Zeros. The album also boasts some notable collaborations, such as the Damned's Captain Sensible and the late Nikki Sudden for an acoustic cover of Iggy's "Kill City", Chris Wilson of the Flamin' Groovies joining the Barracudas to capture Rocky Erickson's "Two Headed Dog," and a Cleveland super group of sorts tabbed The Dukes Of Earls, featuring ex-members of the Dead Boys and the Stiv Bators' band. Also included is an amazing rendition of Rockin' Horse's classic "Don't You Ever Think I Cry" by Buffalo Killers (currently on tour with the Black Crowes), a cover of Spacemen 3 by The Warlocks, and much more. The Last even dug up for the occasion their previously unreleased rendering of Jonathan Richman's "Pablo Picasso" recorded back in 1977. There's a lot of cool music on this comp which we hope fans and collectors will enjoy. Order yours at http://www.bomp.com/
