Possibly the most enigmatic Fuzztone. Michael Jay's brontosaurus bass throb was the rocksteady foundation of the Fuzztones, and combined with Ira's "nutty stick action," produced one of the tightest rhythm sections in rock'n'roll history. Michael was also responsible for a majority of the blood-curdling screams heard on this line-up's recordings. Never seen without his Beatle boots. In every respect, Michael epitomized what being a Fuzztone is all about.

Appears on "Creatures That Time Forgot," "Leave Your Mind At Home," "Live In Europe," and "Live with Screamin' Jay Hawkins."
Toured with the Fuzztones in the Midwest (1983), and in Europe (1985). Formed Link Protrudi and the Jaymen with Rudi in 1986.
